I prefer to eat my Slushie with a spoon rather than drink it through a straw where you get some concentrated Syrup mixture and left with a load of ice.

Yeah same. Looks like the ice wasn’t the right temperature or consistency to be able to absorb the flavor correctly. That almost looks like crush ice. If it’s not finely shaved t he flavor tends to just run the the bottom. That’s one of the major things that Kona Ice competitors get wrong. If you’re ever in the states and see a Kona truck, give it a try.

I’m actually trying to be good, well, more good.
I’m trying to drink more water rather than drinking and if I fancy something more, I get a Slushie from the freezer.

No. You drive on the right side, we, drive on the correct side.
Ironic that a country with such gun culture drives on the right while we, drive on the left, historically to keep out sword/pistol hand free.

This is one of those pre-mixed Slush Pupp ies that come in a pouch to freeze. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before consumption and then mash the pouch to break the ice up. Unfortunately sometimes the ice takes longer and the middle is still solid while the top and bottom are malleable.

7/11 Slurpees are the way to go.
They got the ice just right so you don’t have those issues.

I never get slurpees, but occasionally shaved ice. I put the straw in, put my finger over the top, retract, and remove finger, thus releasing the syrup back over the top. And eat with a spoon

In these parts you can go to Rita’s Italian Ice and get a slushie with custard in it. They call it a Gelati. That’s the way to go, then you have to eat with a spoon.
